報告內容簡介:This presentation will provide a comprehensive exploration of the challenges associated with work-related extreme fatigue for hospital workers and introduce strategies to mitigate its effects. The session is designed to address both individual and organizational approaches to managing fatigue, emphasizing how these measures can improve worker health, patient safety, and hospital efficiency.


報告人簡介:Associate Professor Dr. Veronica Chua is currently the Senior Director, Academic of MAHSA University and Chairs the Academic Affairs and EQUAL committee and the Dean and doctoral supervisor of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing and Education and Senior Director, Academic at MAHSA University. She earned a PhD in Environmental Health from UPM and completed two masters degrees in environmental technology management and educational management.

Veronica has been appointed Panel Assessor for Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA), and the Ministry of Health Malaysia to the Joint Technical Committee for the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council. She is also a Professional Trainer certified by HRDF under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia, a registered Safety and Health Officer with the Department of Safety and Health, Malaysia, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, United Kingdom.

Veronica has received several government research grants for her research work. Her latest Industrial Collaboration Program grant from MRCB and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia for multimodality environmentally - friendly Dengue control approach had a value of over RM1 million.
